Re: New from Morgantown
What sort of gears are you running? And was there any sort of warranty with his work? And thanks again! One thing I've found to be great about the wrangler community is the sense of brother(and sister)hood. Everyone is always helpful. I have the 2.5L in my Jeep and 33's, so I went with 4.88 (which ...

Re: New from Morgantown
I bought my gears and install kits here: http://completeoffroad.com/. I then had rusty install them for me. He was very quick and did an excellent job. It's been 4 or so years ago, so I don't remember the exact prices. Give him a call and ask, he's very personable. Also, Welcome!

Re: ----Build Thread---
Nice welder. One of the guys I work with just stepped up to a 210 Hobart to build his flatbed for his superduty. Said so far he loves it. So far I have no complaints. This thing burns better on the 115v household setting better then the other Century I was using. My welds are starting to look like ...

Well, I'm on the downhill slide to get some things done before summer. I had the jeep tore apart for paint, but after 6+ weeks of waiting I decide to just spray can the fender for now. Once we find a house and get settled I'll paint the jeep myself. I've done all the work myself (minus some welding/...

Re: Tire Balancing with BB's
The dynabeads can be installed by taking out the air valve core then inserting them. The airsoft pellets are bigger and have to be inserted by breaking the bead of the tire/wheel and putting them in.TJinWV wrote:How do you "install" them?

Re: Tire Balancing with BB's
From what I've been reading, this seems to work for some and not for others. I'll be running TJ Moabs with 285/75-16 Duratracs so pretty mild stuff. It just seems that it's hard to get someone that knows how to actually balanace a tire now adays. My last set was road forced balanaced over at Gywnn t...

Tire Balancing with BB's
We've had a few old threads about this, so let get some updates. I'm about to throw some new tires/wheels on the Jeep and was weighing my options.
What type of beads are you running? (dyna beads, airsoft, ect.)
What size of tire and brand
How many ounces used
What did you think of them
