Re: Carburetor Size for Scrambler
I would can the carb idea and go with the FITech fuel injection. The only thing that holds my CJ back is the carb. I am going that route next. I have a 600 Edelbrock on a 6.0L AMX and it works fine for CFM. So the 670 would work if you had to go with a carb. But if you want the max potential out of ...

Re: Ram 1500 Eco-diesel - good motor?
I been hearing guys getting 28MPG? IDK if that's flat landers, once it's broke in or what? I have been toying with the idea of trading my 2500 Hemi for one, if I can get close to 30 MPG and it has enough ballz to tow my 30' camper. I would give up the 2500 capacity to double it's MPG when it's not t...

No joke brother, Some guys from Indiana joined up some folks from NoVA Jeepers there over Labor Day as well. Seeing these pics and theirs, this is a must do for me.

Here's one story: http://www.jkowners.com/forum/modified-jk-tech-dept/85145-12-jk-auto-detroit-locker-issue.html Another guy wrote : I love a good mechanical locker... I have a 2013 MOAB JKU and have a yukon grizzly locker in the rear. You will randomly get a limp mode problem with these lockers whe...

Re: Powertrax Grip Pro versus Detroit Tru Trac?
Is this a Manual or Auto 2012 JKU? Rumor has it that if it is an auto you cannot put a locker in it or it will cause the trans to go into limp mode. To my knowledge there is no fix for this yet. I been waiting for it as I want to lock my 2012 JK's rear axle. The next question is, what axle are your ...

Re: Replacing only two tires?
I would buy two new tires and put them on the front then run the 5th good one as your spare. You will be fine. I have ran two new and two half tread (same brand & model tires) on my JK with out issues as well as several other vehicles.

Re: YJ problems
The AX-5 ran behind the 2.5L, it had both internal and external slaves depending on years. The BA-10 Peugot (translated - piece of junk lol) was the MT in 87-88 behind the 258(YJ) and 4.0L(XJ/MJ) it was an internal slave. It was replaced by the AX-15 in mid 1988, The EARLY AX-15's ran an internal sl...

Re: YJ problems
The trans is out of an older YJ. Could have even been a 4.0L swap job. Hard to say. The AX-15 appeared in 89 and ran through 92 with the internal slave IIRC.

Re: Always something
We have a complete NP231 t-case (23 spline input) in exc cond. Removed to install one that had a SYE already in it. Located in Morgantown. $350 I can include the drive shaft if it's still there as well.
