Possessed grand cherokee. help...

A friend of mine has a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee. A few months ago while she was driving her radio went off and her dash lights started flashing. It continued to happen on and off so she took it to have it looked at. She just got it back from the shop and they told her that the alternator was fine and she just had a loose battery terminal. While I was on the phone with her just now she said that all of her lights started flickering on the dash and all of her gauges(including speedometer) dropped to zero, but it is running fine. All of her lights came on.. check engine, abs, etc. The lights for the temp. directions are fine it is just the dash having issues. Any ideas????

maybe the connection where the gauge cluster plugs in is loose?

it's def. posessed. take it to a holy man RIGHT NOW.

beat it with a cross, flood the engine with holy water. that should solve the problem. :D

maybe a fuse too....i'm guessing they would have checked that though. I had a civic that did that and what had happened is a fuse was losing connection.

probably the cluster itself I've seen alot of problems with them, and replaced quite a few of them. But I would start by checking the the big connectors at the left and right kick panles(2 on each side), seen some issus there to.
