While they do have the frams the only good frams are the one fresh out of a Filter crusher.

nitecop, you and i know how good fram filters are, and we both know that people like them due to the grippy stuff on the end. that said i wouldnt put a fram filter on a car i was going to sell the next day if it was the only filter i could find. i wouldnt want people to think i even put a fram filter on anything. hell i look at fram filters and want to change my oil. i believe that is a good deal advance is doing, as long as the mobil 1 filter goes along with it.

PureOne or Mobil1 filters are the best ones I've used

Wix are my pic. Which by the way are the NAPA top of the line filters just with NAPA's logo on them. When I used to work for them a sales rep had a little gadget that was kinda like a can opener that could cut the bottem off off any filter so it could be taken apart. He let us pick any filters we wanted off the shelf and then we also cut open a Fram , Purolator, STP, and some other name brand fitlers to compare and they were not even close to the Wix/NAPA ones. I remember the fram and purolator were identical inside and all they had for a spring at the top was a piece os sprung steel that he showed by hitting it with the top of another filter how easily it was smashed and never springs back just like when you first start your engine and oil hits it for the first time flating it out for good. That right there pretty much sold me because Wix has ans actual spring in theres as well as an up front by pass some others do not.
