Re: NEED INJECTORS??
19 pound injectors are gonna starve a stock 4.0L .
So I'd say it would have tobe the 24s if that is the choice.
What exactly is this supposed to do?

Re: NEED INJECTORS??
Jim, the Jeep injectors have 1 big hole. The Ford injectors have 4 smaller holes. The theory is that the fuel is a finer mist with the ford injectors and thus you get a better atomization of the fuel/air mixture.

Re: NEED INJECTORS??
the ford bosch is supposed to be the same inj. only it has 4 discharge holes, versus stock jeep only having just one. so the ford 4 hole will atomize the fuel better upon discharged.nitecop wrote:19 pound injectors are gonna starve a stock 4.0L .

Re: NEED INJECTORS??
If you've got a Renix 4.0 use 19lb, if it's an HO use 24lb.

Re: NEED INJECTORS??
I've been using RC Engineering stuff for years.Sometimes all you need is a good clean and balance, especially if the engine's stock inside. There is a calculator on the site to help with injector sizing.

Do they have new o rings? If not, it's very cheap insurance. Also, IIRC, you should soak them in oil to soften them up alittle.19558077 wrote:just got the injectors today. and helful tips before i tear into them tomm.
