Feeler: Anyone have a torque wrench?
Feeler: Anyone have a torque wrench?
Looks like I might need a torque wrench to install my locker. Anyone have one in the Fairmont or surrounding areas that would be willing to loan it out to me? I probably won't need it for a week or two.
Thanks
Sam

Sweet....... Thanks everyone. It looks like there are quite a few of you that have a TW. Well if Joe helps we might not need to borrow one..... but if we do I will be calling Chris (Since I know where he lives)
Thanks guys.
BTW>: Man I love this club. I tell you I have met some really good people on here. Seriously. This is probably one of the better jeep clubs in this region. Heck ask Forbes his experience with a PA jeep club, really ask him he has an interesting story about going on a ride with a PA club.

Indeed, this club is insanely friendly and helpful in every way.
You all really go above and beyond to help others out.
I for one am proud to be part of this club.
Well, I guess figure out where you want to install it Sam.
You may want to get it in before we go to Leadmons ride
Seeing how you might not have the winch

I've got one down here Sam. I got it at Harbor Freight, but it only goes up to 80 lbs

Re: Feeler: Anyone have a torque wrench?
hey tupton, do you really trust a harbor freight TW?, im just wondering, not knocking your tools but most of there tools just seem to be below par for me.
Re: Feeler: Anyone have a torque wrench?
Dave I dont think Tom is out there working on something every day that requires the use of a TW. You need a very good quality torque wrench because you use it everyday, heck your tools pretty much bring home the bacon right. Or does your company supply you with tools? Even we need a very good quality wrench because we are always setting up gears, and things of that nature. For some one who will use the tool once a month or less Harbor freight is perfectly fine. Catch my drift?

Took the words out of my mouth AJ.
If I used it frequently I would def get a higher quality wrench.

Re: Feeler: Anyone have a torque wrench?
Hey Sam, I've got one too. Might be the easiest for you to get? Just let me know when you need it.
You can get one from the loaner tool programs at Autozone, too.
