Is this beast going to fit out of your garage?

Your right it is about 2.5 inches of up travel.

One more thought Lee...

Is that 2.5" taking into consideration any additional weight (driver, pass., full gas tank, tools, spare parts, Cooler, camping gear)?
Your at the softest part of your spring now. It won't take much to compress the springs another 1"

Is that 2.5" leaving you a cushin for your bump stop?
Not sure what your plans are for bump stops, but surly what ever you use will have some give before it completly stops the travel. And you'll want to make sure the bump stop complelty stops the travel before the shock bottoms out.

I think so, will need to let all the air out of the tire, but I think it will

Me too, I'm still shooting for a late summer completion, but who knows what tomorrow will bring :)

Thanks for the post guys, it definately gave me a lot to think about concerning the shocks. A good bit of time went into searching about what was said with only 2.5 inches of up travel. Your right it wasn't enough, thats why I cut the towers & tabs off & did a redesign. I now have 6" of up travel with the new configuration . I wasn't liking the idea of losing down travel, so longer shocks will be needed.

Here are a some more pics to update the changes made in the last couple days.

Make sure that when you get your new shocks that you dont get them so long as to limit your up travel again. Remember, the springs will sag, and with longer shocks, comes longer shock bodies.

Still building, but a lot closer than the last time I posted in the thread. All the internals are done on the front 60. Still got to pull the front & mount the PSC ram to the axle. The rear of the jeep is done enough to field test. Going to change the rear shock mounts 1 more time & it should be the last. Hear are a ton of updated pics.
