My one buddy that wants to go is wife is a school teacher so he mentioned the last week of March because she will be on spring break but I'm not sure what the temperature will be like down there that time of year for camping.

How long does it typically take to get through the whole thing.

And you camp at the top and run backwards the next day?

In march the weather could go either way. We usually run the entire trail then run back up to the top to camp. The amount of time depends greatly on how many rigs are running and the capability of said rigs. Ive had it take all dat to complete the 7 miles.
Beat it to fit. Paint it to match.

I was figuring all day. We will be in no.hurry and id's say 3 to 4 rigs is all well have but all but maybe mine are underbuilt so I expect some winching and what not.

It will be late March or early April most likely that we go. I'm more worried about rain than temperature.

I just looked at the Pines campgrounds information page and it says the campground it is open from April 1st to December 7th so I would assume that the Jeep Trail probably closes with it.

If you go down later next month could you get me some nice pictures of the information kiosk at the beginning of the trail so that I can see and read the information for myself?
