Carburetor Size for Scrambler

Hi All.

I’m changing out the fuel injection on my 83 Scrambler and going with the Holley Off-road Truck Avenger. I’m undecided between the 670 or the 770 CFM. Does anyone have experience on which I should go with?

The motor is a 383 Stroker.

What's your use case? Are you going to be WOT mud running or rock bouncing? You'll definitely want the 770. If you're street/trail driving, the 670 would suffice and save a little at the gas pump.

I would can the carb idea and go with the FITech fuel injection. The only thing that holds my CJ back is the carb. I am going that route next. I have a 600 Edelbrock on a 6.0L AMX and it works fine for CFM. So the 670 would work if you had to go with a carb. But if you want the max potential out of the engine and Jeep go FI.
