I am looking for my next set of tires. If I don't find some decent take offs to put on my jeep, I'm going to be buying new.
That said, I don't have the budget for a lift, and thus something that fits on a stock jeep is needed.
The jeep is a 2018 JKU-Wheelys, and came with BFG Mud Terrain T/A LT255/75/R17.These lasted about 25k miles. I rarely go off road, but I do go into yards, fields, etc. I would like to not get stuck. But I don't need to climb Spruce knob straight up. (though I admit it would be fun)I'm wanting something with a longer road wear. Hybrid tire?
Do I stick with the size it came with, do I go slightly bigger? 265?
A friend of mine who used to have a JK is suggesting BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2.
Any thoughts / suggestions / offers ?

The KOs are a good tire just keep them rotated. A cheaper tire with a similar tread is the General AT2. For a less aggressive AT I suggest the Cooper Discoverer AT2. I have them on my sons XJ and wife’s Suburban. They ride nice but have to keep the ones on the Suburban rotated to keep them from cupping. It’s not a problem on the lighter XJ.
