The Friends of Charity Auto Fair is one of West Virginia’s premier car shows, but combine it with live music, carnival rides & games, sponsor displays, and special guests, you end up having an incredible fair and festival-type atmosphere. The West Virginia Jeep Club will be set up on the grounds, so be sure to register your Jeep or off-road vehicle and come join us on the main grounds. ADMISSION: The Friends of Charity Auto Fair is a fantastic, affordable experience for the entire family. Whether you are a car enthusiast, a music lover, or a kid at heart, the auto fair offers something for everyone of all ages. General admission tickets at the gate cost $5 per person for Friday, July 9, and $10 per ticket on Saturday, July 10. Tickets for the car show passes and concert can also be purchased by clicking here. Carnival ride tickets can be purchased during the event for an additional charge.
COMMUNITY INVESTMENT: From its inception, the goals for the Friends of Charity Auto Fair have been to help raise funds for local non profit organizations, to boost the local economy in southern West Virginia, and to shed light on the charitable work the community does to make our area a better place to live, work and play. HOURS OF OPERATION: The Friends of Charity Auto Fair is open to the public during the following hours:
Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
CAR SHOW: Hundreds of vehicles, including rods, customs, classics, trucks, tuners, muscle cars and motorcycles, enter the Friends of Charity Auto Fair each year. Whether visiting for the first time or coming back for the fifteenth consecutive year, our car show participants are guaranteed to have a fun-filled weekend with their family and friends. SATURDAY NIGHT CONCERT: A major highlight of the Friends of Charity Auto Fair is the Saturday Night Concert. 2021 brings back country music star Josh Turner to the Auto Fair stage.
BURNOUT CONTEST: A staple at the Friends of Charity Auto Fair is the Saturday afternoon Burnout Contest presented by Creager Tire. Participants can burn some rubber in front of thousands of spectators and the winner will receive four new tires.
GLOW OFF: See dozens of show cars light up the Friends of Charity Auto Fair show grounds with their neon lights during the annual Friday night Glow Off. Winners will receive 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies.
CAR LIMBO: How low can you go? See how low our show cars can go at the annual Car Limbo contest on Saturday afternoon. Winners will receive a cash prize.
FOOD COURT: The Friends of Charity Auto Fair offers a variety of food and beverages courtesy of our friends along Food Vendor Alley. Featuring traditional festival offerings like hot dogs and BBQs, the alley is guaranteed to have something for everyone to enjoy!
SPONSOR’S ROW: Sponsor’s Row is always a fun place to be! Those in attendance at the Friends of Charity Auto Fair will be able to visit with the sponsors of our event, receive give-a-ways, enter raffles, play challenging games for prizes and more.
